2026 Marketing Summer Analyst Program (New York)

 TRAINING PROGRAM

  • A 10-week Summer Analyst Program beginning in June.
  • An intensive hands-on introduction to Marketing at Morgan Stanley.
  • In-depth exposure to a specific Marketing function, while gaining a broader understanding of the division’s functional teams including but not limited to: Brand & Content, Experiences & Events, Distribution & Website, International Marketing, and Strategy & Operations.
  • Firmwide and Marketing specific events and training, including exposure to each of our functional areas and to senior management.
  • Support from a direct manager and mentor(s).
  • Throughout the summer there are opportunities to participate in various trainings, speaker series, community service and volunteering, and networking events to be fully immersed in Marketing and the Firm’s culture.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to support team objectives and accomplishments.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects cross-functionally.
  • Manage internal client expectations and priorities.
  • Build relationships with internal clients & business partners.
  • Conduct project or program management, evaluation and metrics reporting.
  • Please note the roles and responsibilities of a Summer Analyst vary by group and are not limited to the above.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • You are pursuing an undergraduate Bachelor's degree with a graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and track record of academic excellence.
  • Team player with high EQ who can easily pivot from creative to analytical projects.
  • Interest in Marketing (via your major, curriculum, extracurricular activities, or other relevant experience).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at solving problems and developing efficient processes.
  • Ability to analyze data and synthesize meaningful summaries.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Expected base pay rate for the role will be $36.06 per hour at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
