Never Have I Ever Beauty Content Creator (Freelance/Part-Time)

 

Location: Hybrid (NYC preferred for in-person shoots in our office at TriBeCa)
Schedule: Project-based or weekly hours (10–20 hours/week)
Compensation: starting at $17/hr (Portfolio Required)

 

About Never Have I Ever:
NHIE is a Gen-Z-powered press-on nail brand born at the intersection of beauty, music, fashion, and art. Our designs are licensed by real artists, worn by top influencers, and stocked in stores like Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie nationwide. We believe in bold self-expression—and our content should reflect that.

What You’ll Do:
We’re looking for an experienced Beauty Content Creator to join our creative team. You’ll work directly with our marketing and brand leads to develop scroll-stopping content that drives engagement and strengthens our brand identity.

Responsibilities:

  • Concept, shoot, and edit short-form videos and static content (IG Reels, TikToks, tutorials, BTS, mood edits, etc.)
  • Produce platform-native content that is on-trend, culturally aware, and aligned with NHIE’s brand voice
  • Create product tutorials and influencer-style content using NHIE nails
  • Coordinate and direct occasional model/influencer shoots
  • Stay updated on beauty trends and bring new creative ideas to the table
  • Organize and manage digital assets for multi-platform publishing

You Are:

  • A digital native with a strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram content trends
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Confident on camera (or know how to direct talent) and great at storytelling through video
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a collaborative spirit
  • A beauty lover who understands the aesthetics, pace, and audience of Gen Z beauty content

Requirements:

  • Proven content creation experience in the beauty industry (portfolio or TikTok/IG handle required)
  • Strong editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
  • Ability to shoot using your own iPhone in good lighting
  • Comfortable managing and delivering fast turnarounds on weekly content needs

Bonus If You Have:

  • Past work with beauty brands, especially nail, skincare, or makeup
  • Experience with short form influencer content for Instagram or TikTok
  • NYC-based for in-person shoots (2-3 times a month)
