Customer Support Specialist

Pickaxe is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to handle incoming emails, bug reports, and miscellaneous service requests from our user base. Qualified applicants will demonstrate strong writing skills, interest in and knowledge of LLMs (and ideally of Pickaxe), and ability to provide consistent and engaged responses to ongoing requests. Applicants should be excited about assisting others, be able to work flexible hours, be prepared to work closely with a dedicated team, and have a genuine desire to work at a small startup. 

This is a full-time and fully remote position.

About Pickaxe

Pickaxe.co (https://pickaxe.co/) is a no-code platform that provides non-technical users the ability to harness AI for their projects and businesses. A Pickaxe is an AI tool, either a chatbot or a form, that is powered with a prompt. In addition to the prompt, users can power their Pickaxe with documents, websites, videos, special instructions, API endpoints, and more. Thousands of people from around the world interact with Pickaxe every day, and our user base is rapidly expanding.

What You’ll Do 

  • Manage our information email inbox, which involves assisting users with subscription issues, account changes, product-related questions, and bug reports (with help from our engineers).
  • Provide user support on our community forum, where people make additional Pickaxe-related inquiries
  • Meet regularly with the Pickaxe team to go over platform changes, and provide reports based on user inquiries and suggestions

Desired Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Background in a tech-related field, or a background in IT, is required
  • Background or familiarity with LLMs and how they operate is preferred. Existing knowledge of the Pickaxe platform is a plus.
  • Strong writing and communication skills are a must.

Compensation

This is a contract position, with a starting annual salary range between $40,000 and $60,000. The salary offered is determined based on factors such as job-related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees. There will be opportunity for both salary increase and employment benefits based on continued excellent job performance.
