Type: Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Pay: $16.00/hour
About the Role
Are you a high-energy, people-focused individual who loves being out in the community, building relationships, and making things happen? As a Community Impact & Outreach Associate, you’ll be on the front lines of our efforts to connect with residents, organizations, and partners who are shaping the future of Chicago’s neighborhoods.
We work with community organizations, corporations, political candidates, and grassroots initiatives, giving you the chance to build your skills in multiple areas — from advocacy campaigns to corporate partnerships to local events.
What You’ll Do
- Engage directly with community members in neighborhoods, at events, and on campuses.
- Circulate petitions, share information, and gather feedback from residents.
- Assist with public awareness and mobilization campaigns.
- Represent our organization at community meetings, pop-ups, and networking events.
- Support event planning, setup, and on-site engagement.
- Track outreach results, contacts, and feedback for reporting purposes.
