Missions Resident

Missions Resident Summary

The Missions resident at United City Church will be responsible for assisting with recruiting and training church members to serve locally, nationally and globally in a variety of missions ministries including local outreach, national and global mission trips, and prison ministry.

Essential Responsibilities:

• The Missions Resident will report directly to the Missions Pastor
• Serve and lead in a variety of ministry opportunities across a broad spectrum of United City ministries
• Serve on the Adults Team and learn the United City staff culture
• Help plan and co-lead at least one national and one global mission trip
• Help create and plan 2 Serve Days per year
• Participate in various aspects of Prison Ministry
• Create and add content to the @untdcitymissions Instagram account
• Accompany the Missions Pastor to meetings with leaders
• Help plan, execute and manage large events as part of the staff team
• Assist in the pastoral care of members 
• Serving with United City Young Adults
• Attend all required events and activities for United City including all services, staff meetings, prayer meetings, special events, and staff development days.
