As a Channel & Events Coordinator, you’ll support our Middle Market business development team in executing promotional campaigns, coordinating events, and building community visibility. In addition to digital and traditional marketing support, you’ll play a key role in grassroots efforts — helping get the Benchmark name out through direct outreach, local engagement, and networking.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and promoting events via email campaigns, social media, and third-party channels.
  • Coordinate grassroots outreach efforts such as:
  • Help draft and organize marketing content including event listings, internal announcements, and press releases.
  • Maintain and update content and promotion calendars across communication channels.
  • Track and report on the performance of campaigns and outreach initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure brand consistency and message alignment.
  • Coordinate meetings with local business leaders
  • Distributing promotional materials at targeted business hubs.
  • Attending local networking events or business meetups.
  • Supporting business development representatives at trade shows or industry mixers.

Job Requirements

  •  Background in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related fields.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outgoing personality with a willingness to engage face-to-face with local business communities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic design platforms (e.g., Canva).
  • Organized, reliable, and proactive — with a “roll up your sleeves” mentality.
  • Event management/coordination experience required.

Salary

As the Channel & Events Coordinator, you will receive an annual salary in the range of $45,000-$50,000, paid out on a bi-weekly basis.
