We take great pride in our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and personalized approach to each piece. We are seeking an enthusiastic Showroom Sales Associate Intern to join our team this fall. As part of the Atico team, you'll play a vital role in our customer-focused showroom and help bring our designs to life. The Role: Showroom Sales Associate
This internship offers a hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. You’ll assist the Owners and Showroom Manager in showroom operations, client communications, event coordination, and various other tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. The internship will provide you with a variety of experiences, helping you gain valuable insights into the design and sales world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support & Invoicing: Create and send invoices for Atico Furniture sales and track client purchases.
- Showroom Management: Assist with furniture movement and showroom design to ensure a polished, presentable environment.
- Event Coordination: Help maintain updated client lists, assist with event marketing, and follow up with clients via calls and emails to promote upcoming sales and events.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside Atico’s team members to maintain smooth daily operations and contribute to ongoing projects.
- Schedule Management: Assist with the Owners’ calendar, ensuring client meetings and production schedules are updated and on track.
- Inventory & Supply Management: Help with inventory tracking, placing orders for low-stock items, and sourcing materials from local stores like Lowe’s and Home Depot.

- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are a must.
- Professional Demeanor: Ability to interact with clients and professionally present yourself.
- Problem Solver: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to handle challenges with innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Available to work five days a week this fall (flexible schedule).
- Interest in design, furniture, or working in a showroom environment.
- Ability to lift and move furniture when necessary.
- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the desire to learn.
- Design Technology Skills: ability to use programs like SketchUp or programming similar to CAD
