Adjunct Coordinator
Position Summary:
The adjunct coordinator will perform administrative duties to support the adjunct teaching staff. The administrative duties performed will be guided by the 9-12 Director and Assistant Director. The adjunct coordinator will assist administrators in school operations, including but not limited to; supervision of adjunct teaching staff, leading staff development programs, working with parents, students and teachers on issues that may arise, as well as serve as a liaison between adjunct teachers and school administration.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise, support, and evaluate adjunct teachers.
- Facilitate monthly meetings and professional learning sessions: develop measurable and meaningful goals within the department that support school wide goals. This requires availability after regular business hours.
- Gather adjunct performance data weekly and provide formative feedback.
- Gather and analyze student data in order to disseminate as needed, as well as to make informed decisions to support students, families, and staff.
- Monitor student progress towards required performance outcomes and communicate progress to various stakeholders.
- Actively participate in the MTSS process. Collaborate with the Student Intervention Team to identify and address the needs of students requiring additional support or intervention.
- Support teachers to resolve differences in communication with parents and students.
- Work with students, parents, and adjunct teachers on issues related to student performance, student behavioral issues, instructional methodologies, and parent concerns.
- Assist in developing and administering staff development programs and opportunities.
- Establish rapport with students and their families while expressing the importance of consistent attendance and engagement to meet learning objectives.
- Collaborate with special programs to ensure all students are provided with appropriate support, accommodations, and modifications in accordance with student IEP and 504 plans, as well as relevant legislation.
- Collaborate with the leadership team, department chairs, and adjunct teachers to develop, monitor and adjust interventions and advancement structures and strategies that meet the academic needs of the students.
- Assist school administration in the areas of talent management, financial management, and emergency procedures.
- Responsible for course scheduling each term, substitute scheduling, and submitting appropriate paperwork for adjunct pay and other stipends, and overall school operations.
- Facilitate orientation for new adjunct staff members, especially as it relates to the area of students, personnel policy, and procedures.
- Assist with supporting standardized assessments locally and within the state of Arizona.
- Attend all school sponsored activities.
- Additional duties as needed.

Education/Training:
- 1-3 years previous experience in educational leadership
- Highly qualified or certified in a subject area
- Arizona Principal or School Administration certification preferred
- Current valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience in online education preferred
- Must be able to work onsite in Chandler, AZ
