We're looking for enthusiastic and engaging individuals to join our sales team at local farmer's markets and share our flavorful story with customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect directly with our community and drive brand awareness and sales.

Responsibilities:

As a sales intern at farmers markets, you will represent West Indies Peppa Sauce at various farmers markets in Central Florida. Your responsibilities will include:

Market Day Operations:

• Using your own car to drive to farmers markets.
• Assisting with the setup of our market stand, including tents, tables, display stands, signage, and product arrangement.
• Engaging with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, creating a positive experience.
• Sharing the West Indies Peppa Sauce brand story and the unique qualities of our products.
• Providing samples of our various pepper sauces to potential customers.
• Effectively converting customer interactions into sales.
• Accurately processing customer payments.
• Assisting with the breakdown and packing up of the market stand at the end of the market day.
• Ensuring all West Indies Peppa Sauce supplies and equipment are accounted for and handled with care.
• Taking engaging videos and pictures of the set up at the market and posting stories to social media accounts.

Preparation and Communication:

• Ensuring all necessary electronic devices (e.g., payment terminals) are fully charged prior to market day.
• Preparing any required food samples (e.g., mac and cheese, as specified) before arriving at the market.
• Communicating effectively with Randy before and after each market regarding setup, sales, inventory, and any needs or observations.
• Being responsible for all West Indies Peppa Sauce supplies and equipment during transport and at the market.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from farmers market.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to connect with people.
• A genuine enthusiasm for interacting with customers and creating a positive brand experience.
• Ability to confidently share the brand story and product information in an engaging way.
• Comfortable providing samples and actively working to convert customer interest into sales.
• A positive, energetic, and self-motivated attitude with the ability to represent the brand authentically.
• Punctuality and reliability, ensuring timely arrival and commitment to the market schedule.

Market Schedule:

• Your schedule will include assisting at our Sunday farmers markets and occasional weekday evening and weekend markets.

Training:

• You will receive one week of training to familiarize yourself with our products, brand messaging, and market procedures.

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for all West Indies Peppa Sauce supplies and equipment during market days.
• Ensure electronic devices are charged and any required food preparation is completed before arriving at the market.
