Sales Intern (Paid – Flexible Schedule)

About the Role
Howell Rescue Systems is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Sales Intern to join our growing sales team. This intern will play a key supporting role in streamlining sales operations, assisting with CRM management, and analyzing sales data to support strategic decisions. If you are a business major with strong communication and organizational skills, and you are eager to gain hands-on experience, this is an opportunity to learn from one of the most dynamic teams in the fire rescue industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Salesforce CRM data entry, clean-up, and ongoing management
- Conduct research to identify new sales prospects and update existing account information
- Support the sales team during trainings, demos, and industry events
- Attend vendor and product trainings alongside the sales team
- Generate reports and analyze sales data to help identify trends and opportunities
- Help verify data accuracy by contacting customers as needed
- Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns, digital outreach, and event planning
- Perform general administrative and support tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a college/university program studying Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce experience a plus)
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Professional, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
- Interest in the public safety or fire service industry is a plus, but not required
