Customer Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Track and trace shipments and drivers providing detailed updates within our Transportation Management System
● Provide timely and professional updates to various customers
● Proactively solve carrier and customer issues with a strong emphasis on team communication and individual initiative
● Utilize various communication tools to communicate with carriers and customers with an attention to detail and sense of urgency
● Ability to quickly learn internal and external reporting tools to provide data to customer reps and managers
● Coordinate available customer freight with available carrier equipment ● Communicate with motor carriers to schedule appointments and resolve issues in a timely manner
● Organize on time pickup and deliveries across multiple software systems ● Verify all freight charges, confirm receipt of Bill of Lading, and resolve all payable discrepancies prior to final payment to motor carrier
● Monitor bill of lading discrepancies to ensure proper return of commodity is arranged, as necessary
● Bid on customer freight and booking loads depending on business needs ● Generate and identify new sales opportunities through research, analysis, and discovery using various programs
● Review sales activities and prospective customers with team members and management
● Maintain a flexible schedule with weekend and evening availabilities
Ideal candidate would work the below schedule.
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday
- 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST)
Compensation:
$40,000-$45,000 (Up to $50,000 for those with experience in logistics and/or a degree relevant to the supply chain and logistics industry)

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
● 1-2 years of work experience in customer service, operations, data entry, call center, dispatch, or logistics
● Must have strong attention to detail
● Ability to prioritize, balance, and organize information while completing multiple tasks.
● Knowledge and familiarity with Google Drive/ Suite (Gmail/Sheets/Documents, etc)
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Excellent teamwork skills (We are a team-first environment)
● Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
