SUMMARY & PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating and delivering various marketing products to support the growth of our business. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of initiatives and delivering on strategies as directed. You’ll participate in a wide range of marketing activities, including research, design, planning, reporting, and content creation. You’ll work in partnership with internal teams across disciplines and industry partners to define business needs, identify and create critical content and marketing support gaps, and develop relevant solutions across channels and platforms - including digital, website, email, social media, video, collateral, presentations, PR, branding and more.
PRIMARY POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establish a broad-based understanding of the mortgage industry to create concise and engaging content to make the complex simple
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional internal teams, as well as with fellow members of our Marketing to foster clear and consistent communication,
effectively manage expectations, maintain alignment, and ensure high-quality deliverables consistent with company branding and initiatives.
• Actively facilitating internal team communication to keep leadership informed and engaged and provide consistent status updates and actionable plans for
stakeholders.
• Content proofing for brand consistency, grammar, and spelling
• Prioritize and execute custom requests by loan officers via Zendesk
• Leverage market research to inform of marketing strategies and develop knowledge of audience needs and wants
• Utilize marketing strategies to produce results-oriented material
• Act as the Marketing liaison for new hires, focusing on getting the Loan Officers set up, including:
• Online presence listings
• Point of contact for QRG’s and questions relating to Outlook signature, signature template for ConnectGS Business card ordering process, Automatic postings,
Navigating Marketing Connect, Deactivating the Pop-up blocker, Brand Brochure, Social Media Compliance
• Work with Compliance to complete state and federal audits and exams, including keeping copies of LO-created content for retention purposes.
• Experience writing about mortgage, finance, real estate, and technical content
• Research, write, proof, and edit marketing, communications, and instructional content (may include webpages, emails, social media, articles, ads, videos, flyers,
booklets, mailers, and event materials)
• Familiarity with marketing copywriting practices and strategies (including SEO)
• Research topics using internal and external resources
• Ensure superb grammatical and informational accuracy of the content
• Collaborate with topic experts, designers, and stakeholders to guide projects from concept to completion
• Suggest ideas for new content and projects
