Marketing and Communications Internship (Paid)
Nacy Warner Associates seeks a Marketing & Communications Intern to support its Corporate Social Responsibility work with a major Capital Region (NY) employer.
Supervised by the Senior Consultant / Director of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing & Communications Intern will play an important role in a large-scale, region-wide employee volunteer program. Key accountabilities will include:
- Assist in planning and scheduling key volunteer project leader communications
- Support email, chat and application inquiries from volunteer project leaders
- Monitor volunteer project leader communications and route communications to appropriate team member(s)
- Assist in securing project photos, video clips, quotes and anecdotes from volunteer project leaders
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions and contribute creative idea
- Assist in moving volunteer project supplies
- Provide general administrative support to the Senior Consultant / Director of Marketing & Communications
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, speaking, and communications skills, and will feel comfortable utilizing email, Microsoft Teams, and other web-based communications platforms and applications. Ability to work as a team member a plus. The intern will be assisting with moving project supplies on carts, so the ability to lift 25+ lbs is essential.
This is a paid internship running from September 1 to October 31, 2025 with the intern working 15 hours per week in September and 25 hours per week in October. The pay rate is $18 - $20 per hour for undergraduate students or $25 - $28 per hour for graduate students.
