Program/Social Media Assistant Coordinator

AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY – Full/Part Time Intern Program/Social Media Assistant Coordinator

Work in a creative environment at Theatre Of Hearts/Youth First, a mid-size, non-profit, arts education organization.

 

The Program/Social Media Assistant Coordinator works closely with the Program Coordinators and Executive Director in all aspects of program design, implementation, and reporting, as well as in office administration.
 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with Professional Artist-Mentors and program sites to design residency plans.
  • Establishing and confirming timelines for program workshops and performances.
  • Scheduling meetings with program sites, Artist-Mentors, and other collaborators.
  • Conducting program site-visits and taking photos of art performances. 
  • Maintaining awareness of all program workshop curricula, budgets and activities.

The Program/Social Media/Assistant Coordinator Intern is responsible for:

  • Recruiting Professional Artist-Mentors and maintaining artist resource files.
  • Scheduling office appointments/meetings and Artist-In-Residence programs.
  • Maintaining the office master program calendar and data-entry records of program assessments and evaluations.
  • Grant reporting.
  • Processing invoices for deliverables and receivables.
  • Assisting with organization events and PR on an as-needed basis.
  • Attending arts events on behalf of the organization.
  • Maintaining organization’s Social Media presence on Instagram and TikTok.

The Intern must be/possess:

  • Reliability
  • A self-starter and multi-tasker.
  • Excellent verbal, written, computer (MAC OS and MS Office), and time-management skills.
  • Willing to travel to various program sites throughout LA County.
  • Extremely detail-oriented.
  • Previous experience in arts administration is preferred. 
  • A car, proof of current insurance, current valid Driver’s License.
  • A BA degree and/in the arts field of study, currently getting a BA degree, or equivalent professional experience in an relate field.

Work:

  • 3-4 days a week 
  • In person, 9-5 
  • Location: Koreatown
