Seattle, Washington. We manufacture sophisticated chemical analysis instruments, develop
control software, and provide continued support to our instrument customers. We are a global

Job Summary
We are looking for an application chemist with a background in chemistry or a similar discipline.
Spanish language fluency is a requirement. This is an entry-level position, and after one or two
years it will be possible to relocate to Dallas, Texas
As an Application Chemist, you will work closely with our existing customers and potential new
prospects through the entire process of acquiring and learning FIAlab instrumentation. This
includes educating our customers about FIAlab analyzers, working to understand the
requirements for instrumentation in their laboratory, and finding a good FIAlab solution for them.
This position would also support their accounts in the after-sales process, including traveling to
the customer site to install the instrument and train the customers on using the instrument.
You will be working primarily with our flow injection analyzers, a type of laboratory instrument
that automates wet chemistry methods for a variety of analytes and industries. While familiarity
with laboratory instrumentation in general is required, it is not a requirement that you have
worked specifically with flow analyzers. This position will include a training period which will
prepare you for work with our instruments.
Key Responsibilities
• Production operations, including but not limited to
o Instrument assembly for fluidic parts
o Manufacturing of reduction and separation columns
• Instrument QC testing
• Method optimization and validation
• Inside sales operations, including but not limited to
o Monitoring emails for orders and quote requests
o Generating and sending out quotes
o Processing orders placed by customers
• Installation operations, including but not limited to

o Instrument setup at customer sites
o Training customer staff on the use of FIAlab instrumentation and software
This position requires knowledge of analytical instrumentation and chemistry, along with clear
communication and strong organization required to effectively support clients. It offers an
