Biotechnology R&D Intern
IFF is seeking a motivated intern to join our Biotechnology R&D team. This internship offers flexible part-time hours (15–20 hrs/week) during the academic year, with the potential to transition to full-time (40 hrs/week) during summer break. Interns will gain hands-on experience in industrial microbiology, fermentation, and molecular biology while contributing to real-world food innovation challenges. Responsibilities
- Support standard lab activities including media preparation, sterilization, and equipment maintenance.
- Perform molecular biology and microbiology techniques under supervision.
- Independently execute experiments and maintain a safe, collaborative lab environment.
- Analyze data, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate progress to advisors.
- Participate in training, present findings to the R&D team, and engage with professionals across departments.
