Cammisa Markel PLLC, a boutique business immigration law firm in the heart of downtown Manhattan, is looking for an organized, proactive and adaptable Office Admin Assistant to join our (full of Aussies) team.
This is a full-time, in-office position that starts as temporary and may evolve into a permanent role. It's a great opportunity for someone on a Work & Travel J-1 visa.

What You'll Do
You'll be a key player in keeping our office running smoothly, supporting both our attorneys and our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling and calendar management across multiple time zones
- Coordinating client communications and appointment reminders
- Answering phone and email inquiries
- Assisting with webinars
- Keeping our office space tidy, organized, welcoming and well-functioning
- Handling light administrative duties like mail, filing, and document prep
- Acting as a friendly point of contact for clients and visitors : Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors of the office, always giving a positive experience, including but not limited to, offering clients beverages and refreshments

Maintain office supplies, including but not limited printer toner, paper and stationary inventory, pantry items including snacks and beverages

You Might Be a Great Fit If...
- You’re organized, detail-oriented, and quick on your feet
- You enjoy working with people and have a friendly, service-oriented vibe
- You're adaptable, resourceful, and not afraid to ask questions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Will be required to be in the office five days and have flexibility with hours

Compensation & Perks
- $18–$21/hour to start
- Higher rates considered for candidates with prior legal/admin experience
