WBRZ-TV is seeking an innovative, motivated, and highly creative Marketing Content Producer to join our dynamic team. This role is a storyteller with a sharp eye for compelling content who can drive on-air image promotion, create engaging long-form content for both broadcast and digital platforms, and elevate key station initiatives. As a voice for the WRBZ brand, you will champion our “Investigative Unit”, "2 On Your Side," "Storm Station Weather," and our Community Service efforts, creating special opens and content for sports specials and "2 Your Town" roadshows. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who can generate new ideas and strategies to build and elevate our image. The best person for this job will have a clear understanding of the big picture and cross-platform promotion. This individual should be highly organized and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with news, weather, and community service teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and brand messaging.
- Produce engaging and eye-catching image campaigns for each of our cornerstone brand platforms, including the Investigative Unit, "2 On Your Side," "The Storm Station," Sports, "Locally Owned Locally Loved," and Breaking News.
- Create image promotional spots and segments that effectively communicate station priorities, such as investigative reporting, weather coverage, and community impact, across all platforms.
- Enhance the overall brand look by creating captivating graphics for all platforms.
- Create unique segments and content to increase the reach of our OTT and Social Media properties.
- Build and maintain web pages for community service projects, sales partnerships, and contests.
- Create unique marketing messages or promos that evoke emotion and present stories in original and dynamic ways.
- Write, produce, and coordinate marketing messages for multiple platforms.
- Create graphics to enhance the overall station image.
- Fill and promote on-air logs as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong social media skills, including an active presence on platforms such as Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
- Ability to write compelling content that drives engagement and brings new attention to our projects.
- Knowledge of ENPS, Edius, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
- Ability to rally others to make projects bigger and better.
- Video production, web, social media, and graphic design experience are helpful.
