We are looking for a self-motivated, onsite Systems and Network Engineer who shares our commitment and believes in the value of communication and client interaction in Wheaton, IL. As an IT Systems and Network Engineer, you will:

• Design, Implement, Maintain and Secure our client's Microsoft server and network infrastructure onsite;
• Work cross-functionally onsite across our client's technology group and the rest of their business to design and implement large scale solutions; and
• Implement Prescient Solutions' best practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports both operational and engineering functions at our client sites;
• Troubleshoots and maintains clients' IT infrastructures and network 24/7; 
• Evaluates customer generated requirements and works with the clients to ensure the implementation meets the clients' needs;
• Works with technicians and engineering groups at both Prescient Solutions and at the client locations to troubleshoot and resolve issues as required;
• Prepares operational and technical documentation;
• Mentors junior team members; and
• Performs other duties and assists with special projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical expertise of Microsoft server operating systems, network protocols and hardware, virtualization, security and Azure;
• Able to balance multiple priorities concurrently; and
