Talent Branding & Outreach Specialist

 

Location: Remote opportunity – Raleigh-Durham, NC; Charleston, SC or Jackson, MS preferred locations

Sonepar is seeking a dynamic Talent Branding & Outreach Specialist who will work on projects that will drive our employer branding, university partnerships, and develop strategies to engage a wide array of talent across the United States within our Operating Companies.

What You’ll Do:

Attract & Engage Talent

- Executes in-person, virtual and social media strategies to connect with wide-ranging talent pools to promote the hiring demands and opportunities across our Operating Companies.

- Serves as a Talent Ambassador at internal and external events to promote human capital programs.

- Audits, enhances, and develops digital, print, and presentation materials to ensure they are engaging, inclusive, audience-appropriate, and aligned with Sonepar’s brand standards.

Partner with Local HR Teams

- Collaborates with Operating Company HR teams to elevate local talent branding strategies.

- Shares best practices that leads to measurable improvements in local and national talent attraction.

University Relationship Support

- Builds and maintains strong partnerships with core universities at the enterprise level.

- Recommends University level programs that engages and supports early career hiring & attraction.

- Supports local HR Teams in executing university recruiting events and share best practices.

 

What You Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree required

- 1+ years of professional branding and outreach program management experience, preferred

- 1+ years of experience as a Branding and/or Outreach Specialist within a large complex organization; community/non-profit organization or a university career services/student association, preferred

- Experience developing marketing & branding content in Canva or similar platform

- Experience with managing Handshake platform

- Experience managing candidates through an Applicant Tracking Systems (SAP Success Factors)

- Exceptional/Advance Skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

- Experience in early career program management/HR project coordination/leadership development programs

- Reside within 30 miles of a major/international airport

- Ability to travel 20-25%, as needed throughout the year

- Enthusiastic, self-starter attitude with strong communication and leadership skills

- Excellent time management, analytical thinking, and presentation abilities
