Role Overview: As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in trading operations across multiple portfolios. You will be responsible for working closely with the portfolio management team to settle transactions, make margin calls, reconcile positions, run risk reports, and help with other strategic projects that enhance the operations of the firm. You will also liaise directly with counterparties and the fund custodian to ensure smooth settlements. The role includes streamlining trading operations and systems with a focus on automation, efficiency, scalability, security, and cost-optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm and settle trades
- Perform daily fund accounting and position reconciliation
- Oversee daily monitoring of portfolio risk characteristics
- Assist in streamlining booking, settlement, reconciliation, and risk modules
- Collaborate with Senior Portfolio Managers on daily risk reporting
- Interface directly with counterparties and fund custodians for seamless settlements
- Drive automation and process enhancements to boost efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Strong Excel skills and experience (or a strong desire to learn) in automating task through Python and VBA
- Ideal candidates will have exposure to SQL databases/queries and business process automation and fixed income products

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $70,000/yr - $90,000/yr+ commensurate with experience. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, health care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. Our pay-for-performance compensation philosophy means your total compensation may vary based on role, department, and individual performance.
