Position Description
We have continued to expand and win great projects. However, for us to meet these new commitments, we need to add staff by January. We only need serious candidates who are ready to start a career not just a job.
Efforts will include supporting completion of Phase I ESAs with historical research, regulatory research, and all around investigative skills (do you ask good questions?) as well as ecological and wetland field work in support of our assessment projects. Work may also include support of investigation efforts concerning soil, surface water, groundwater, soilgas and air. Join a great team that enjoys the work they do and will invest in you. Desired Background: A bachelor’s degree in the environmental field with some understanding of geosciences and a great work attitude. Strong natural sciences, field sampling skills, geology/hydrogeology background a plus.
Preferred experience with/knowledge of: Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Soil Classification, Plant Taxonomic Skills, Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point), sampling of soil, water, air.
