Financial Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Analyst responsible for conducting analyses to support the bidding process for our school districts as well as the internal budgeting and reporting processes. This role will have hands-on daily interaction with other team members and key managers at Opaa!’s Home Office. This position will also assist with the analysis of school district financial statements.

 

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Essential Functions

  • Use data to conduct analysis on prospective business and provide recommendations to bid team.
  • Understand the bidding requirements for each state agency and maintain the models to adhere to these requirements.
  • Collect data from the field to ensure timely and accurate budgeting and forecasting for each school year.
  • Provide annual reports to Opaa!’s school districts to fulfill contractual requirements.
  • Build and maintain Excel and Power BI tools to assist with reporting and analysis.
  • Learn the mechanics of each Opaa! system and stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Communicate insights to Home Office and field management to uncover areas for improvement and ensure operational success at each school district.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis as needed to support monthly reporting and decisions.
  • Provide support to the field and perform other duties as needed.
