
Social Media Intern
We’re looking to hire a talented, self-motivated individual for a part-time (up to 10 hours/week) internship to help drive social media and content development, primarily on Instagram and TikTok. This role will directly interact with management to create content, report on current social trends, and interact with the Lovability audience, while helping to attract and engage new members. This position is remote.

By the end of the internship, you will:
- Improve your understanding of the social media landscape, trends, and challenges of marketing sexual health and pleasure
- Create compelling content for Lovability’s social channels with a test-and-learn mentality
- Reach new consumers, creating a deeper resonance with Lovability’s audience
- Confidently present data and recommendations
- Learn to bring Lovability’s brand voice and positioning to life, acting as a consumer ambassador for the brand
Responsibilities:
Content Creation
- Compose Instagram and TikTok content that is original, relatable, fun, informational, and on-brand, based on trends
- Identify and engage with up-and-coming Instagram and TikTok content creators and influencers as warranted
- Be self-sufficient with producing content
- Participate in team brainstorms and content ideation
Social Media
- Discover the Lovability niche on Instagram and TikTok to drive brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy amongst its core audience of women 21-35
- Work to understand performance and growth metrics and to adjust content creative for optimizing posts
- Gather data and monthly reporting on social performance
- Engage with followers in DMs/comments where needed, across social media platforms
- Continually research social media news, updates, and trends to propose ideas on how Lovability can successfully show up on multiple platforms
- Ad hoc support on the Lovability website and other projects that impact social media
- Ad hoc support on Influencer and PR projects
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is creative, has a good sense of humor, has a keen interest in marketing for a mission-driven organization, and possesses a basic knowledge of marketing principles through coursework or prior work experience.
- Candidates are pursuing a degree in Marketing, Gender Studies, Human Sexuality, or a related field
- Strong personal or educational interest in sexual health
- Comfortable behind (and in front of) a camera and passionate about creating video content
- Innate user of social media and basic knowledge of what types of content perform well on the platforms
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask with excellent follow-through and task completion
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Problem solver, able to work independently to produce quality results
