Location: In-person (Aurora, CO)
Duration: Fall 2025, approximately September – December (with potential to extend into Winter and Spring)
Hours: Flexible, 10–20 hours/week
Compensation: To be determined (eligible for academic credit; letter of recommendation provided upon completion)
About De La Shey Lingerie:
De La Shey Lingerie is a boutique brand based in Aurora, Colorado, dedicated to empowering women through elegant, inclusive lingerie and post-surgical garments. Our mission is to support women at every stage of life—whether they’re seeking everyday confidence or recovering from breast surgery. We specialize in custom-fitted mastectomy bras, lymphedema compression garments, and fashion-forward lingerie that celebrates all body types.
We are also a certified provider of medical-grade garments and work closely with healthcare professionals and insurance providers to ensure our clients receive the care and coverage they deserve.
Internship Overview:
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in both the fashion and healthcare industries. Interns will support marketing, business development, and healthcare billing operations—including exposure to insurance billing, patient support, provider communications, and customer service.
You’ll work directly with the founder and gain hands-on experience in a mission-driven, woman-owned business that blends style, compassion, and clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients who visit the shop, informing them of the products and services De La Shey offers
- Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Support email marketing and customer outreach campaigns
- Conduct market research and help identify growth opportunities
- Help manage and update our website
- Assist with event planning for pop-ups, trunk shows, and community health events
- Learn and support medical billing processes for insurance claims
- Help coordinate with healthcare providers and assist clients with documentation
- Provide general administrative and operational support
Ideal Candidate:
- A student or recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, Fashion Merchandising, Communications or a related field
- Strong communicator with a creative eye and attention to detail
- Interested in both fashion and healthcare industries
- Comfortable working with sensitive client information (training provided)
- Passionate about women’s health, empowerment, and inclusive design
