Onboarding Coordinator- HR Compliance

HR File Compliance Assistant/Onboarding Coordinator

Salary Range: $50,000 to $55,000

Full-time, On-site

With programs in Family Support, Education, Therapy, and Recreation, we serve over 2,500 individuals each year from our locations in Highland Hills, Westlake, and Camp Cheerful in Strongsville.

We’re looking for a dynamic HR File Compliance Assistant/Onboarding Coordinator to support a fast-paced HR department and to be fully responsible for all HR records. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager and the Chief HR officer, you’ll take the lead with onboarding, pre-employment background-checks and all licensure/accreditation doe HR file compliance as well as other HR Generalist duties.

What You’ll Do:

Onboarding: Manage full-cycle pre-employment and onboarding process as well as new hire orientation. Includes background checks, registry checks, licensure checks, scheduling pre-employment drug screens and ensure all new hire files are compliant with licensure requirements.

HR/File Compliance - Manage and maintain all employee files on-line and hard copy for newly hired employees as well as current employees for performance reviews, anniversaries, birthdays, employee recognition and other full life-cycle employee events.

Compliance Oversight: Maintain up-to-date knowledge and practices in HR law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, etc.). Maintain knowledge of agency's licensure and accreditation rules and regulations as related to HR file compliance.

Offboarding: Conduct exit interviews and assist in employee transitions.

What You Bring:

Past experience in a fast-paced HR department with experience in HR file compliance to include fingerprinting, abuser registry checks, background checks and other licensure/accreditation requirements.

Experience with HRIS systems and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong organizational, and problem-solving skills, must be able to multi-task, work independently and demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail.

Ability to travel frequently to all locations including Westlake and Strongsville. In 2026, this position will be fully on-site at our Westlake location.
