Wealth Management Client Associate

Job Title: Wealth Management Client Associate – Merrill Lynch Wealth Management

Location: Boston, MA

Employment Type: Full-time 

 

Overview:

Our Boston based Wealth Management team is seeking a highly motivated and detail orientated Client Associate to join our dynamic and growing practice.  The ideal candidate is client-focused, organized, and thrives in a fast paced, professional environment.  This individual will play a key role in supporting financial advisors and ensuring the highest level of client service and operational efficiency. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Wealth Management Client Associate – WMCA

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding account inquiries, service requests, and operational needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and responsiveness. 
  • Coordinate client onboarding, account openings, and documentation processing. 
  • Facilitate money movements, wire transfers, contributions, and distributions. 

Operational Support:

  • Prepare and process forms for account maintenance, transfers, and updates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in CRM systems, and internal databases.
  • Assist in preparing client review materials and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.

Team & Advisor Support:

  • Collaborate closely with advisors and other team members to ensure smooth execution of day-to-day activities.
  • Support marketing and business development initiatives, including client events and communications. 
  • Help manage calendars, schedule client meetings, and track key deliverables. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred in industry related major
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in a client service or support role
  • Series 7 and 66 preferred or willingness to obtain with in a year of hire
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a high-touch, client-centric environment.
