Associate Attorney
We are seeking an associate attorney to join our workers’ compensation defense firm. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, regardless of their background. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Representation: Represent employers, carriers, and third-party administrators from claim inception to resolution.
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support successful case strategies.
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of claims, providing updates to clients and moving claims to closure.
- Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with applicant attorneys, lien claimants, and co-defendants.
- Documentation: Draft and review legal documents.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate.
- Bar License.
- Previous experience in workers' compensation law is preferred, but recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
