We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and creative Event Marketing Specialist to drive ticket sales and brand awareness through performance-based marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of live event promotion, and has a proven track record of managing high-ROI ad campaigns across digital platforms.
Position Overview
As the Event Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns to promote ticket sales, drive conversions, and increase brand visibility. Your role will span paid search, social media advertising, display, and retargeting campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Develop and manage multi-channel paid advertising strategies (PPC, social ads, display, video, retargeting, geo-fencing, etc.) for concerts, festivals, events, and ticketing.
Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience targeting, and competitor analysis to maximize campaign performance.
Set up, test, monitor, and optimize ad campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok Ads, YouTube, and others.
Conversion Optimization & Funnel Strategy
Monitor and analyze conversion rates, cost-per-acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and other KPIs.
Create and manage A/B testing strategies across creatives, CTAs, and landing pages.
Collaborate with the website and ticketing team to enhance conversion paths, improve user experience, and reduce bounce rates.
Creative & Messaging Development
Create content and designs to develop compelling ad creatives and marketing copy tailored to specific audiences.
Ensure creative assets are aligned with brand voice, event theme, and call-to-action best practices.
Suggest and implement data-driven creative iterations based on performance metrics.
Analytics & Reporting
Use tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Pixel, and third-party dashboards to track and report on campaign performance.
Provide weekly/monthly campaign reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Monitor trends in audience behavior and industry benchmarks to stay ahead of the curve.
Budget Management
Manage digital advertising budgets with precision, adjusting allocations based on performance and ticketing pace.
Forecast campaign costs and deliver on pre-determined ROI benchmarks.
Allocate spend across campaigns to maximize impact during critical sales windows (e.g., launch, early bird, price increase deadlines).
Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Have:
Digital marketing experience with a strong focus on PPC and conversion-based campaigns.
Proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Analytics.
Knowledge of conversion tracking, event pixel setup, UTM parameter structuring, and audience segmentation.
Experience with A/B testing and landing page optimization.
Strong copywriting and messaging skills tailored to entertainment/event audiences.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience managing ad budgets of $10,000/month or more.
Experience in the live events, entertainment, or ticketing industry.
Familiarity with ticketing platforms like Afton Tickets, SeeTickets, Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, TicketSmarter, or similar.
Graphic design skills or familiarity with creative tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
Knowledge of email marketing, CRM integrations, and SMS campaigns is a plus.
