Social Media Manager & Spa Attendant Intern

Location: Lake Charles, LA

Business: Massage Lake Charles

Schedule: Flexible, 10–20 hours per week

Compensation:  $10/HR plus free monthly massage and facial, and discounts on all services and retail

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and motivated intern to support our marketing and daily operations. This role is ideal for a student who’s passionate about social media, branding, wellness, and learning how a thriving spa business runs behind the scenes.

Responsibilities:

Marketing & Content Creation

• Assist in managing and scheduling content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google, and potentially TikTok and Snapchat)
• Help develop creative campaigns, reels, stories, and promotional graphics using Canva or similar tools
• Track engagement and analytics to help improve reach and performance
• Research industry trends and brainstorm fresh content ideas

Spa Operations Support

• Perform light cleaning duties to help maintain spa ambiance and cleanliness
• Assist with laundry and folding spa linens
• Learn about the client experience and spa workflow

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Business, or related program
• Proficiency in social media platforms (especially Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok)
• Interest in wellness, aesthetics, or luxury service industries
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Comfortable multitasking in a quiet, professional setting
