Throughout this internship, you will be involved in partnering with one of our largest retail business partners, The Home Depot. This internship opportunity will allow you to grasp a fundamental understanding of our general business practices while gaining insight into current and future internal opportunities within sales, management, marketing, and operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver best-in-class sales and customer service by engaging directly with consumers in The Home Depot, showcasing in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for TTI product lines
Support and execute strategic marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and sales
Analyze sales performance and gather competitive insights to assess market potential and inform local sales strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with store associates and management to drive collaboration and enhance business outcomes
Communicate professionally with customers, retail staff, and TTI team members to ensure alignment and support brand standards
Lead in-store product training and demonstrations to educate retail associates, store leadership, and customers on key product features and benefits
Plan and execute promotional events, product demos, and store walks to drive consumer engagement and increase product sell-through
Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring product availability and optimal shelf presence
Drive sales growth of Milwaukee®, Ryobi®, and other TTI brands by executing retail campaigns, product placements, and live demos
Completion of assigned projects and professional developmental tasks, on time, to enhance business acumen, apply core business principles, and leverage provided resources in real-world retail scenarios
Partner with a TTI mentor to gain industry knowledge, receive career guidance, and explore future opportunities within the organization
Note: Employee's duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by the employee's supervisor. In addition to the basic requirements of the position, all employees are expected to meet the company's goals of continual improvement in the areas of knowledge, skills, processes, and quality.
Job and Employment Requirements:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a related 4-year degree, rising Juniors and Seniors are preferred
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or restrictions
Ability to work in a retail environment and stand for the duration of shift with the exception of meals and rest breaks
Ability to work nights and weekends
Capable of lifting and transporting heavy products (up to 50 lbs.) and requesting assistance as needed
Capable of reaching and/or lifting overhead in addition to ascending/descending ladders to move product
Capable of using hands to maneuver small objects, assemble tools and build displays
Must have reliable transportation to and from your territory and maybe required to conduct travel to neighboring territories
The applicant must be MS Office proficient
Applicant should be self-motivated and a team player with strong organizational and planning skills
Compensation:
Salary Non-Exempt Position (Overtime Eligible) / Part Time Position
The pay for this position is $18/hour

Accrue PTO at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked
