Community Team Intern- Fall 2025

Hoboken Grace Community Church is seeking a part-time or full-time Community Team Intern to join our team. This individual will work directly with our Community Director and Associate Community Director to help foster authentic connections, support leaders, and build meaningful relationships within our church and the city.

This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in leadership development, community engagement, marketing, or communications, and looking to gain hands-on, real-world experience. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Hoboken, NJ, and must be eligible to work in the United States.

The experience and competencies developed in this role will apply not only within a church setting but also in college, future workplaces, and beyond. At the heart of everything we do is people. This internship is for those who believe that building meaningful relationships and fostering connections creates a lasting impact.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passionate about leadership, community-building, and meaningful relationships
  • Strong communicator who connects easily with others
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and teachable
  • Positive, eager to learn, and ready to grow
  • Comfortable learning new digital tools
  • College student or recent graduate seeking hands-on leadership experience
  • A foundational understanding that people are at the center of what we do

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with planning and promoting events that bring people together
  • Designing engaging content and materials for social media and outreach
  • Supporting leader recruitment, onboarding, and management
  • Helping capture and share community stories to inspire and engage others
  • Maintaining key organizational documents to ensure smooth operations
  • Contributing new ideas to help foster connection and growth within Hoboken Grace

SCHEDULE

  • September 16, 2025- December 11, 2025
  • Part-time, 10 - 20 hours per week, depending on the candidate

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • $250 stipend at the end of the internship
