Position Overview: Genesis 360 is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our facilities maintenance and construction projects. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of facilities operations and project coordination who are eager to grow within a dynamic and mission-driven organization. The Assistant Project Manager will assist in managing maintenance and construction projects, coordinating vendor services, and ensuring the smooth operation of commercial, industrial, and federal facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support planning, scheduling, and coordination of projects from initiation to completion.
- Maintain accurate documentation for service requests, maintenance logs, and compliance records.
- Assist in tracking budgets, processing invoices, and managing project-related financial documentation.
- Help prepare project status reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits to monitor facility conditions, ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, and identify potential issues.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating operational risks and resolving issues as they arise.
- Support compliance with applicable regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by analyzing performance data and suggesting process enhancements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 1–3 years of experience in facilities management, construction, or project coordination
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
Preferred:
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/plans
- Familiarity with safety regulations, building codes, and maintenance operations
