Salient Strategies is a Texas-based public affairs and business development firm. We focus on strategic communications, digital marketing, and lead generation. Our clients include advocacy groups, emerging industries, and high-impact organizations that want to tell their stories and grow their reach.

We are looking for a Communication Intern Specialist for the Fall 2025 term, starting August 15, 2025. You will work closely with our team on real projects that combine communications, business development, and digital automation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing communications strategies, press releases, and digital campaigns.

Support social media content, email workflows, and CRM automation.

Research target audiences and compile lead lists for business development.

Draft clear and engaging outreach materials for clients and internal initiatives.

Review campaign data and suggest ways to improve performance.

Who We’re Looking For

Current graduate or advanced undergraduate student in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.

Strong writing and editing skills with examples of professional work or class projects.

Familiarity with social platforms, email marketing, or CRM systems. (Experience with Monday, Salesforce, or Mailchimp is a plus.)

Organized, creative, and able to take initiative.

Interest in public affairs, advocacy, or emerging industries.

Details & Evaluation

Timeline: Fall 2025 Internship – August 15 to December 15, 2025 

Stipend: $2,000, paid in two installments.

Schedule: Flexible hours with hybrid or remote options.

Evaluation: A review at 90 days to determine completion or possible extension.
