As an intern, you’ll be an important part of the Marketing team, working closely with talented writers, video producers and digital marketers to create graphics, collateral materials, marketing emails, event signage, digital signage and more. The ideal person for this position loves collaborating with others to share ideas and feedback, enjoys ideating, is organized and has a high attention to detail, and wants to create amazing work that both delights and achieves strategic goals.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
During this internship, you can expect to:
Participate in regular team meetings and standups, gaining experience in an agile work environment.
Develop and execute a comprehensive storytelling project, including internal and external communications and multimedia production.
Assist with graphic design tasks using Adobe Creative Cloud, creating visually appealing marketing materials.
Support website management efforts, including content updates and basic optimization tasks.
Contribute to video production projects, from conceptualization to editing and post-production.
Provide copywriting and editing support for various marketing materials, including social media posts, blog articles, and email campaigns.
Assist in digital asset management, organizing and maintaining the company's media library.
Collaborate with team members on presentation development and design for internal and external use.
Gain exposure to community affairs and corporate citizenship initiatives.
Gain exposure to customer experience and user experience projects, such as research and UX writing.
It’s required that you:
Provide samples of your work or provide a link to your portfolio or website.
Be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, public relations, or similar area of study.
Have strong writing and editing skills
Have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator and After Effects
Internship details:
12-week internship to begin in September (flexible on start and end date to meet credit needs).
Location: Austin, TX; in-person; potential for limited remote work later in the internship.
Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible).
This position will pay $26 an hour.
