Internship Overview

We’re seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Intern to assist with the planning, logistics, and day-to-day execution of youth sports tournaments and leagues. This hands-on role offers an inside look into sports event management and the systems that keep everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Assist in scheduling matches, coordinating field allocations, and managing tournament timelines

Communicate with teams, referees, and venue partners to confirm logistics

Monitor registration platforms, process entries, and track payment/refund statuses

Support planning of knockout rounds and bracket structures

Help prepare event signage, check-in materials, and on-site setups

Draft and refine communications, including confirmation emails and refund policies

Analyze operational efficiencies and suggest improvements

Participate in event execution, potentially including travel to on-site locations

Ideal Candidate

Passion for youth sports and event management

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Comfortable working with spreadsheets and scheduling tools

Proactive communicator and quick problem solver

Studying Sports Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or related field

Availability for occasional weekend events is a plus
