Social Media and Outreach Intern

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media and Outreach Intern to join our team. This intern will assist in managing our social media channels, developing content, and engaging with our community. Additionally, the intern will support outreach initiatives to expand our audience and foster relationships with partners and influencers.

 

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).

Monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.

Conduct research on current social media trends and audience preferences to inform content creation.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media campaigns and strategies.

Help in analyzing social media metrics and preparing reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.

Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential partners, influencers, and media contacts to foster collaborations.

Support the planning and execution of online and offline events, promotions, and campaigns.

Maintain an organized content calendar to ensure timely posting and campaign execution.

 

 

Qualifications

Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.

Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.

Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Enthusiasm for social media, digital marketing, and building online communities.
