Position summary
The role primarily involves maintaining compliance and strong organization of Human Resources related processes, documentation, and employee lifecycle tasks, as well as supporting employees with HR-related inquiries. This position will also provide strong learning and networking opportunities like attending meetings, employee relations meetings, and more. In this role, you will be working directly with the Chief of Staff of Catholic Charities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support all internal and external related inquiries or requests.
- Manage employee contracts, appointments, letters and changes.
- Manage company databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details.
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
- Screening potential employees’ resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies.
- Manage the overall recruitment process from posting job openings through onboarding.
- Organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates.
- Market Research salary information.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable to employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- MUST BE PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT EXCEL AND SMARTSHEET.
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Must have good computer skills.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
