Founded in late 2019 by two best friends who found slime healing during difficult times, the mission of the company is to deliver joy. Sloomoo Inc. is looking for a Social Media Intern to support our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s obsessed with internet culture, loves staying organized, and wants to learn how social first brand campaigns come to life. This role will support the full cycle of social campaign execution from planning and content management to community engagement and trend spotting. You’ll work closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure we’re staying relevant, meeting deadlines, connected to our audience, and on top of what’s next in digital. 

What You’ll Do: 

Community Engagement & Management 

  • Monitor, engage, and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across our platforms.
  • Help coordinate shoutouts, influencer UGC, fan replies, and surprise & delight moments.
  • Conduct daily sweeps to answer questions, gather feedback, and spotlight superfans.
  • Act as the “eyes and ears” of the brand across our platforms to help us stay in communication with our audience.
  • Assist with publishing and scheduling content, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Campaign Coordination & Content Ops 

  • Assist in organizing and tracking monthly campaign themes, content deliverables, and platform needs.
  • Help prep briefs, outlines, and planning docs for brand campaigns, product drops, collabs, and more.
  • Upload, tag, and organize creative and UGC content.

Trend Spotting & Social Listening 

  • Identify trending audios, meme formats, and content styles that fit our brand mission, core values and voice.
  • Spot viral moments, creator campaigns, and emerging platform trends we should test.
  • Highlight key insights and patterns from community engagement and audience behavior.
  • Support brainstorm sessions with weekly social media trend report decks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For 

  • Passionate about digital content, community building, and playful brands.
  • In tune with TikTok, Instagram, and pop culture trends.
  • Super organized with an eye for detail and strong follow-through.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Social savvy with the ability to match the language of each social platform in Sloomoo Inc’s voice.
  • Creative thinker who’s eager to learn and contribute ideas.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Bonus Points If You… 

  • Have experience using Notion or Dash Hudson.
  • Have a portfolio, TikTok, or IG where you create or curate content.
  • Ready to jump in front of the camera for fun silly content, skits, or street interviews.
  • Are studying communications, marketing, design, media, or a related field.
  • Experience creating AI-generated videos.
