Conciliation Court Representative
Responsible for representing Accounts Receivable Services (“ARS”) in conciliation court to protect the client’s interest and settle outstanding debtor accounts.
Principle Responsibilities
- Reviews non-purchased accounts to go to collections attorney
- Confirm requirements of collections attorney are met per account prior to placement to ensure compliance (closed border, cease and desist, etc.)
- Collect on non-purchased accounts within the Final Referral department (MedCredit, non-court)
- Place outbound calls on accounts that were not purchased by ARS
- Handle inbound calls on non-court affiliated accounts
- Handle correspondence from consumers on non-purchased accounts
- Pre court batching
- Pre-screen accounts for non-eligibility (bankruptcy, M.A., APC, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
- 2+ years collections experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's or Vocational degree in Business, Health science, or related field
