Assistant Principal

Albert Lea Area Schools is seeking applicants for a 1.0 FTE Assistant Principal for Albert Lea High School.  

Job Summary: 
 
Under the direction of the Building Principal, the Assistant Principal is responsible for assisting in the implementation, supervision and administrative support of building educational programs, staff and initiatives.  Positions responsibilities will vary from building to building at the discretion of the Principal but generally include such responsibilities as participation in the observation and evaluation of instructional staff; implementation of student supervision and discipline policies and procedures; assisting in coordination of scheduling and registration processes; and coordination of special projects or functions (e.g. student testing and coordination of building level activities).

  • 1.0 FTE - Assistant Principal for an 8-12 High School

Qualifications:

  • K-12 Minnesota Administrative Licensure required
  • Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred experience with AP classes and collaboration with local higher education institutions

     

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $107,327-$114,643 (Depending on candidate's experience in accordance with the Administrative Salary Schedule)
