At Waushara County, we are dedicated to protecting the well-being of children and supporting families in our community. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Child Protection Services Case Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and welfare of children in need.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide comprehensive case management to a diverse clientele, ensuring each child and family receives tailored support.
  • Serve as a vital liaison among schools, law enforcement, courts, and out-of-home placements to coordinate services and advocate for families.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of alleged child abuse and neglect, including interviewing children, parents, and alleged perpetrators in various settings.
  • Collaborate closely with the Corporation Counsel and District Attorney to prepare court documents and provide testimony as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports, adhering to all timelines and standards of practice.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field preferred, with a strong commitment to child welfare.
  • Previous experience in social work is preferred, with a desire to continue professional growth through ongoing training.
  • Knowledge of child development, family systems, and juvenile court laws.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently.

Compensation: Starting wage is $26.36 - $28.12 per hour (based on relevant experience), with comprehensive benefits.
