We are interviewing Territory Sales Manager candidates. We provide a high level of autonomy for each of our Outside Sales Team members to manage their territory. Each Territory Manager is accountable for territory growth, expense control, outstanding receivables, and project/product management. This fast-paced sales opportunity will provide the nimbleness of working for a start-up with the stability and proven track record of an established, global company. Salary, annual growth bonus, and targeted pipeline commission structure will be offered to a successful candidate and their performance!

Success as a Territory Sales Manager is highly dependent on 65% or more direct, face-to-face sales, to include:
Traveling to assigned territory each week for face-to-face selling of company products.
Servicing current OEM, reseller and end user account base to develop growth opportunities and maintain positive relationships.
Presenting company capabilities and product offering to qualified prospects.
Qualifying prospective customers through cold calling.
Training and educating reseller accounts and their sales force on filtration and Solberg products using Solberg marketing materials.
Managing target account activities to ensure successful achievement of established goals using worksheets and sales database.
Developing specific strategic plans to ensure revenue growth within territory.
Attending trade shows as needed (approximately 4-6X/year)
Our Territory Sales Managers have 25% or less Sales Related Office Time (8 AM-4 PM CT; Plant is open 6 AM-4 PM Central) for the following activities:
Contacting and qualifying prospective new customers by phone during Core Hours (8 AM-4 PM CT, our Plant is open 6 AM-4 PM CT)
Introducing new filter products/services to current customers and prospects by phone.
Maintaining acceptable receivables within established guidelines.
Scheduling appointments for upcoming sales trips.
Our Territory Sales Managers spend 10% or less on Administrative Office Time on the following activities during non-core Sales Hours:
Collaborating with our Inside Sales Team resources, provide quotations to customers for standard, configured and custom filter products.
Generating monthly reports on target accounts.
Submitting New Prospect/Existing Customer Activity Reports and Expense Reports.
Assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing in any assigned projects.
Territory Sales Manager Candidate qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, or, equivalent, such as an Associates degree and specialized training in Engineering, Sales, Customer Engagement or Purchasing
Demonstrated pipeline building experience
5-7 years Industrial Sales experience servicing various types of business accounts (OEM, distributor, end user)
