Tax Advisory Group Intern Summer 2026

The Tax Advisory Group’s Interns are immersed in the daily activities of the group and are given the opportunity to have hands-on experience with a variety of work performed for Dopkins’ clients. The Tax Advisory Group Intern’s role is one typically of learning and applying technical skills and working as part of a team. You will be actively involved in performing tax returns under the supervision and coaching of the Tax Advisory Group team members.

During your time with us you will:

• Develop technical skills both on the job and through formal learning channels.
• Work as an effective Staff Accountant to complete project components and assignment tasks on budget.
• Build working relationships at peer client level and seek to gain knowledge of client businesses.
• Identify task issues as well as task progress in a timely and organized manner and effectively document work.
• Build strong team relationship skills.
