Associate Veterinarian – in Scenic Upstate New York

Location: Valley Veterinary Associates – Near the Catskills, Upstate NY

At Valley Veterinary Associates, we are a collaborative, five-doctor mixed animal practice with over 40 years of service to our community. Located in rural upstate New York, our practice offers the chance to treat both small and large animals while enjoying a slower pace of life, a supportive team, and wide-open skies.

About Our Practice

Our 5,000 sq. ft. facility includes:

  • Four spacious exam rooms
     
  • Full surgical suite
     
  • Large animal haul-in facility
     
  • Boarding kennel
     

We utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including:

  • CT scanner, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy
     
  • On-site laser therapy and acupuncture
     
  • Advanced orthopedic and dental surgical equipment
     

We serve a loyal, multi-generational client base with full-service medical, surgical, and 24/7 emergency care.

Ideal Candidate

  • Team player with a passion for mixed-animal medicine
     
  • Comfortable with or open to on-call and weekend rotations
     
  • Interested in working in a rural, community-based setting
     
  • Eager to grow skills in both small and large animal practice

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $100,000–$170,000 depending on experience
