Client Development Intern
This intern will play an active role on Collective Measures new business and marketing team. The client development and marketing intern will assist in development and coordination of new business pitches, assisting with general new business organization and reporting, and helping to coordinate the agency’s marketing efforts. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in marketing, excellent writing and design skills, strong attention to detail, is a quick learner, and is able to manage multiple initiatives in an extremely fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
_JOB DUTIES:
- Assist in the execution of the agency’s marketing plan, including the creation of blog posts, social media content, monthly client newsletter, and other marketing content as assigned
- Assist with planning and preparation for agency events, including educational presentations, client roundtables, and industry conferences
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop case studies for use in new business and agency marketing efforts
- Engage in research to support new business pitches and marketing initiatives
- Assist with development of persuasive sales material including pitch decks and new business proposals
- Assist in the management of agency’s internal lead database
- Collect information to assist with lead qualification, helping to determine fit based on established agency criteria
- Support ad hoc requests and projects from the agency’s Executive and/or Leadership teams
_EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a heavy emphasis on persuasive business writing and knowledge of AP style
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Self-starter approach to work, positive attitude, willingness to learn, and drive to consistently meet and exceed expectations to take on more responsibility
- Ability to understand a consultative sales process with a clear understanding of digital marketing
- A strong professional presence, with the confidence and polish to present to internal agency leaders
- Advanced skills with PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word; design experience preferred
- Completed at least two years toward a degree in business, marketing or journalism; or have recently graduated
- Demonstrated ability to think and act proactively
- Demonstrated curiosity and passion for digital marketing
- Digital agency and/or marketing experience preferred

_PAY TRANSPARENCY + INTERNSHIP BENEFITS:
The pay rate for internships at Collective Measures is $18 per hour. Benefits available to interns include:
