Pay Range: $19.15 to $26.80
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Convenience Transportation, LLC, a subsidiary of Kwik Trip, Inc., services our 850+ convenience store locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working, and change orientated support co-worker. Because the responsibilities associated with this position may change frequently, we are looking for someone who enjoys learning and is comfortable completing a wide variety of clerical, administrative, and operational/logistical support responsibilities. The selected individual will complete support functions associated with dispatch and operations
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage all inbound calls to our central phone line
- Assist drivers
- Offer support to dispatch and management
- Assist the Distribution Division Management Team in projects, regulatory compliance, and other operations related matters
- Record keeping and reporting
Qualifications:
- 2+ years in an administrative/support role or equivalent experience/education
- Strong interpersonal skills via telephone
- Ability to process, interpret, and communicate both verbal and written information to co-workers and customers in a professional manner
- Ability to remain calm in a stressful work environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong time management/organizational skills
- Ability to complete basic math computations
- Strong problem solving skills
- Accurate/detail oriented
- Work well alone or as part of a team
- Work with minimal supervision
- Coordinate efforts of multiple parties
- Work in a safety conscious environment
- Strong computer skills and ability to operate a personal computer
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Possess strong typing and data entry skills
- Experience in an AS400 environment, and knowledge of transportation operations and DOT regulations is a plus
- Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
