Dispatcher

Cainiao, a global leader in logistics and supply chain innovation, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to join our team in Illinois. This pivotal role is central to our last-mile delivery operations, responsible for optimizing daily activities, managing driver dispatch, and ensuring a seamless and efficient delivery experience.

Responsibilities：

As a Dispatcher, you will:

Optimize Route Planning: Collaborate with the logistics team to strategically plan and refine delivery routes, considering critical factors such as traffic conditions, package volume, and customer delivery windows to maximize efficiency.

Coordinate Driver Dispatch: Oversee the dispatch of delivery drivers, ensuring they are fully equipped with all necessary information, manifests, and resources for effective and on-schedule route completion.

Monitor Real-time Progress: Utilize advanced tracking systems and communication tools to continuously monitor delivery progress, proactively identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during transit.

Provide DSP Training & Support: Develop and deliver training materials, resources, and guidance to our Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) to optimize last-mile operations, enhance customer service, and improve overall delivery performance.

Resolve Delivery Issues: Serve as a primary point of contact for DSPs, efficiently resolving delivery-related challenges such as incorrect addresses, package damage, or unforeseen delays.

Maintain Inventory Oversight: Meticulously maintain accurate records of inventory within our last-mile distribution center, ensuring precise tracking and management of all packages from arrival to dispatch.

Assure Package Quality: Conduct thorough quality checks on packages to ensure they consistently meet our delivery standards and are in excellent condition upon dispatch.

Generate Performance Reports: Prepare comprehensive reports on delivery performance, including analysis of delivery times, success rates, and identification of areas for continuous improvement.

Ensure Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce all safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring adherence by all employees and partners within the dispatch and delivery operations.

Drive Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement effective solutions to boost overall efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

Experience: Better of 1 year of proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations.

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively manage unexpected situations and challenges.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously and consistently meet tight deadlines.

Communication & Language: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is required.
