Join Our Team as Worship Pastor
Are you passionate about shepherding hearts through theologically rich, congregational worship? Do you crave a role where your pastoral gifts and musical talents serve a growing church family?
Who We Are
Christ Community Church (CCC) is a thriving Evangelical Free Church in Daytona Beach, FL. A church of 500 members, rooted in Reformed theology, we are united around one mission:
To make disciples of Jesus Christ who glorify God by following Christ daily.
Guided by four core values (Biblical Integrity, Spiritual Vitality, Ministry, and Mission), CCC offers a collaborative, Spirit-empowered environment where every leader and volunteer plays a vital part in our journey.
Your Impact
As our Worship Pastor, you will:
- Build Community in Song: Design and lead weekend worship that invites full congregational participation, moving beyond performance to genuine corporate praise.
- Cultivate Musical Teams: Recruit, mentor, and develop volunteer musicians and vocalists, fostering spiritual growth and musical excellence.
- Shape Liturgical Moments: Select and arrange music—drawing from the best of ancient and modern: classic hymns, but also more contemporary artists like (for example) City of Light, Sovereign Grace, The Gettys, Matt Boswell, and other theologically intentional artists—to weave deep doctrine into every service.
- Collaborate with Staff: Partner with the Lead Pastor and Audio Production Service Lead to integrate music and tech for Sundays, as well as special services (Easter Sunrise, Christmas Eve, etc.), and community events (Race Day Picnic).
- Shepherd Through Worship: Engage the congregation, not as a performer, but as a guide—“accompanying” hearts into God’s presence and nurturing spiritual intimacy.
- Model Discipleship: Engage in ongoing spiritual mentorship, continuing education, and active participation in CCC life—leading small groups, attending staff gatherings, and embodying our core values.
