Accounting (Spring semester 2026)

Are you an junior or senior looking to apply your accounting knowledge and gain valuable experience before graduation? As a member of our team, you will be introduced to numerous small business and accounting functions and develop a wide array of skills. We offer a business casual, flexible work environment and can accommodate a part-time or full-time schedule for the right candidate. An internship with Pinnacle Consulting Group, LLC will provide significant growth, a great complement to your accounting coursework, and enhance your ability to succeed post-graduation.

Responsibilities

This position will require the utilization of educational knowledge and experience to perform accounting, tax and consulting related responsibilities such as:

  • Respond to client and firm requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner
  • Work with clients and co-workers to gather necessary information for completion of required tasks.
  • Use data analysis skills to discover and interpret useful information
  • Prepare individual and business tax returns in accordance with firm and professional standards
  • Understand and effectively use current tax and accounting software applications
  • Research tax related issues
  • Perform a limited number of tax return interviews as needed
  • Involvement in payroll and sales tax reporting and financial statement preparation
